Originally for chorus, this would sound best performed by a cello orchestra.
Written by Dvorak in 1882/3, the 5 songs are: Melodies Steal into my Heart, Vesper Bells Ring, Golden Sunlight, Slender Young Tree, and This Day.
Cellos 1 and 2 are often in treble clef, cellos 3 and 4 are occasionally in tenor clef, while the lower parts are in bass clef only.
