A lovely arrangement by Douglas B. Moore for 4 cellos!
Antonio Vivaldi lived from 1678 to 1741 and is famous for writing hundreds of concerti for many different instruments.
This one is orchestral in nature, with no soloist per se. It has no descriptive program, though the last movement is dance-like with folk music aspects.
The top two parts are difficult with passages in treble clef while the lower two parts are of intermediate difficulty, with some double stops to complete the harmony.
An effective piece of 5-6 minutes in duration. It was premiered by the Colorado Cello Quartet in 2021.
PDF file includes 4 cello parts and the full score.
