Arthur Foote (1853-1937) was an American composer of music in a Romantic style.
These character pieces (Waltz, Bag-Pipes, March, Bolero, etc.) were written in 1898 for piano duet and are all easy, in bass clef.
The arranger, Douglas B. Moore, discovered, premiered, recorded and championed both the Concerto and Sonata by Foote.
