Romberg wrote 3 trios “of progressive difficulty” for solo cello, viola and “basso” cello, here arranged for 3 cellos by Douglas B. Moore.
They have also been published as “sonatas” for cello and piano.
This is the second of the set: cello 1 is difficult, being the solo part.
Cello 2 is intermediate, occasionally difficult, with passages in tenor and treble clefs. Cello 3 is easy.
