Probably the most famous Russian romance, arranged here by James Barralet. The lyrics of the song were written by the
Ukranian poet and writer Yevhen Hrebinka in Ukranian, and the Russian translation was
subsequently set to Florian Hermann's Valse Hommage by arranger S. Gerdel and published
on 7th March 1884.
