Schubert’s works for male choir are a rich source of music for multiple celli.
This was written in 1819 but not published until 1891; it is D. 656. Sehnsucht means “longing.”
The first line translates as “Only he who knows longing knows what I suffer.”
Cello 1 is in tenor clef, the rest are in bass clef; intermediate difficulty.
