The 1st Cello has the melody quite high on the fingerboard.
Cellos 2&3 play the accompanying part originally played by the 2 flutes.
Those parts alternate the tricky countermelody with more passive accompanying lines.
The 4th Cello plays the bass.
A beautiful and peaceful piece of music.
